Being happy is also an art that we can learn by adapting few habits that can change our daily routine-life and make us happier. Even though there is no particular formula of being happy but still there are a few life-style changes that can bring tremendous change in our lives and bless us with joy and happiness. The following are the few suggestions given by researchers:
- Get enough sleep
Your body works like a machine and it also needs proper rest. Getting not enough sleep will make you down the whole day and there will be no energy and excitement to do regular tasks. Adequate amount of sleep enables a human body to refresh and give better performance than those of non-sleepers.
- Regular exercise routine
Science proves that healthy living style leads to better life quality. Exercising prepares the human body for effective and efficient metabolism which is very important in staying healthy. When all your body functions are working properly so is the brain, you tend to achieve what you want and happiness follows.
- Be surrounded by positive people/ energy
This is the main key of not only for happiness but also for the motivation in life. I personally experience that, when you have positive energy around you, one can really grow very fast but if otherwise whatever little motivation is left in your body you need to say ‘good-bye’ to it. Select your acquaintance very wisely because it is going to define you on a long run.
- Eating favorite food may make your mood
Eating your favorite food is also one aspect of being happy. You may like all those sugary or oily foods or may be some junk food, I am not encouraging to eat it daily but once in a while eating your favorite food can make your mood.
- Share with others
‘Sharing is caring’ is a very famous proverb and we often use it in conversation but here we are talking about how many times do we imply it in our daily lives. Sharing does not mean if you are rich then only you can give to others. Everything cannot be measured monetarily; we have a lot to share even our feelings for example sharing your positive thought with a friend may make a day for both of you.
Remember being happy is more than a feeling, anyone can stay happy and joyful. It is a skill so if you may not know until now, can start learning from now onwards because when you are happy those who are associated with you in life, will be happy automatically and the chain goes on. Stay happy!!!
